NAM’s Cultural Awareness Program introduces you to numerous functions taking place throughout the Native American community, both on reservations and in the majority of urban markets. For corporations, government agencies and institutions desiring to reach out to the community, attending events is an excellent approach proven to be effective. Because Native American culture and issues are of importance to many, your presence demonstrates to non-Indians and the media your genuine interest in the community and its progress.
During Native American Heritage Month in November, NAM can provide storytellers, traditional dancers and/or professional speakers, who foster cultural awareness and negate stereotypical images.
